Why choose Kelly Electrics for your solar installation?

As an electrician at Kelly Electrics I’ll tell you a little about why I think you should choose us to help you plug into the power of the sun.

We’re qualified

We’re experienced, fully qualified electricians and solar installers registered with the NICEIC and working under Part P Building Regulations. We hold public liability insurance and all solar installations come with a workmanship warranty. The products we install are all certified by the Microgeneration Certification Scheme, of which we are a member. We also work to the Renewable Energy Consumer Code and have a complaints process should you need to use it.

We care

We know going solar is often about a lifestyle choice as much as it is a financial one. We love helping those people who are keen to harness new technologies like solar panels or electric cars. Whether its because they want to cut their carbon footprint, reduce their energy bills, or both! So if you’re a Londoner and keen to go green, then get in touch.

Our track record

I joined Kelly’s company in 2015 and one thing I’ve learnt from her is that if a job isn’t perfect, then it’s not finished. She’s instilled a meticulous and caring work ethic in everyone that works with her, and its inspiring to be part of a team that is so committed, no matter how big or small the job is. Kelly Electrics is one of the few companies to have a 100% positive feedback record on the trading platforms we use and you can always be sure our work is done to the highest quality.

We’re passionate about solar because of my background. I’ve been lucky enough to see first hand the incredible impact solar panels can have for families living without electricity in countries like Uganda, Zambia and Tanzania. The pace at which clean technology is developing to meet energy demands over there is phenomenal. It seems almost backwards to come home to London and see how resistant the UK market is to changing the way we meet our energy needs. They may have more sun in Africa but we can still generate plenty of solar power in the UK, even on a cloudy day! In the first quarter of 2017 30% of the UK’s energy came from renewable sources.
